BIANCA WATTS - HARPIST

Bianca began studying the harp at age seven in Chantilly, France, and has been charmed by the instrument ever since. In 2019 she completed her Masters degree in harp at Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Distinction and in 2016 she graduated with a First Class Honours degree from Durham University in Spanish, Chinese and Music. She also studied the harp for two years at the Royal Conservatoire of Madrid. 

As well as her mastery of classical repertoire, since graduating Bianca has turned her hand to singing and songwriting with the harp, drawing on her love of folk, pop and jazz music, as well as her classical background. She has taken her music to venues around the UK, including Ronnie Scott’s, Les Fetes Galantes, Stop Look Listen and Soul Stripped Sessions. Bianca has released her debut EP of her original compositions for harp, voice, electric bass, double bass, clarinet and percussion.
