An incredible way to include all guests regardless of age or previous Ceilidh background. Our experienced caller will guide you through all of the best group dances while our amazing band regale you with raring tunes from around the British Isles. We also provide background folk music and can provide custom arrangements of songs in a folk style.
Stroma have performed across the UK in many prestigious venues, including Blackheath Halls, The Islington Assembly Halls and The Hackney Round. Comfortable performing for any size of crowd, Stroma are excellent for any event where there is a range of ages, lots of strangers within an event or where an element of team building or blowing off steam is needed!

PACKAGES
PRICINGS
Since every one of our ceilidhs is bespoke to the client, we no longer list prices on our website.
As a general guide, most clients end up paying between £750-1200 – but there’s various factors which contribute to the cost, including package choice, set length, location, PA supply and other optional extras!

PACKAGE 2 – CEILIDH + IPOD DISCO
We provide up to 2hrs of ceilidh as in Package 1, and also provide an iPod disco afterwards so you and your guests can continue dancing to your favourite tracks! This is more cost effective than hiring a separate DJ and ensures a swift transition from ceilidh to disco, with the tracks flowing seamlessly from our specialist DJ software.
PACKAGE 3 – CEILIDH + BACKGROUND MUSIC
We provide up to 2hrs of ceilidh as in Package 1, and also provide background music for your function (for example while your guests eat or during a ceremony). We are all classically trained musicians as well as folk specialists, and can provide music on oboe, recorder, violin, piano and other instruments if you’d prefer this to folk!

If you don’t fancy following all the ceilidh dances and would rather dance freestyle to some energetic folk music, this is the package for you. We can also provide music to accompany your event in other ways if you would like, using various combinations of musicians from the band.
